The adorable, family-friendly movie Babe is this year’s first film in the 2018 Sorauren Park Outdoor Movie series.
The movie starts at 9:30 when it gets dark… but come early for dinner in the park with pizza from the park’s new wood-fired pizza oven. Pizza will be available starting at 8 p.m. until supplies last.
Movie screenings are free, but bring cash for pizza, fresh-made popcorn from the concession stand, Sorauren Park t-shirts, and donations to support the non-profit Friends of Sorauren Park. Bring soccer chairs, air mattresses and blankets to stay comfy.

It was a hot time in the park on Saturday Sept. 23! Thanks everyone who attended The WaBASH Fall Festival. The Kids Zone was packed, the Pup Show was a hit (and hoot), the bands were on fire, the pizza oven was on fire, the food was delicious, the evening perfect for outdoor movies.
Big thanks to all our volunteers who kept the event moving seamlessly. Thanks to our musicians and authors and food vendors. Here’s the full schedule of events and participants.
You can see more coverage and video on our Facebook page.
A special thanks to our amazing sponsors, whose support allows us to produce these free events for the community. Please show them your support.

Join Mowgli, Baloo and the jungle crew at the next Sorauren Park Outdoor Movie, when we screen The Jungle Book 2016 live action edition, rated PG.
The film starts at 8:30 p.m. on the Sorauren Town Square. Our concession stand will have fresh-popped popcorn, drinks and Sorauren Park t-shirts for sale. All proceeds support the non-profit Friends of Sorauren Park.
And bring your smartphone to play Sorauren Screen Play, the fun new outdoor quiz game inspired by the indoor version at a popular cinema near you. Beat the clock and answer correctly to win Sorauren Park swag.
Thanks again to our sponsors (and your donations) for making the free outdoor movie series possible.
The second outdoor movie of the season features the swashbuckling raccoon and other heroes (human, couple of aliens, a wonderful tree-being) from the 2014 summer hit, Guardians of the Galaxy.
If you loved it the first time, you’ll love it more with friends at the park. If you haven’t seen it, now’s your chance. If you’re unsure about sci-fi comic book adventures, this is the one to check out. Great soundtrack. Funny. PG.
The movie plays on the big screen at the Sorauren Town Square on Saturday, July 22 starting at 9:00. It’s free, with popcorn and park t-shirts for sale, and donations always accepted.
Thanks again to our sponsors for making the Sorauren Outdoor Movie season possible.
