The original Pumpkin Parade, Sorauren Park Nov. 1

The original Pumpkin Parade, replicated in parks across Toronto, Canada and the U.S., returns to Sorauren Park on November 1, the night after Halloween.

In a good year, more than 1,500 carved jack-o-lanterns are on display, lined up in the park for everyone to enjoy. It’s like a crowd-sourced art show… bring your own pumpkin to add to the 15th annual edition of the Parade, starting at 6 pm. All welcome.

This year, the city is asking parade goers to bring their pumpkins to the provided bins at 9 pm for composting, or bring them home. You can also volunteer for the clean-up.

Drop by the warming station at the bake oven, run by Friends of Sorauren Park.
