Thanks to Mother Nature and the great efforts of the volunteer Sorauren Park Hosers rink crew, who’ve laid down six floods since Wednesday night, the Sorauren Rink is now open. There are two ice pads on the baseball diamond.
The rink closes at 9 p.m. every night for flooding.
During thaws, please stay off the soft ice to preserve a smooth surface. That allows the Hosers to bring the rink back into operation quickly.
On snowy days, bring your shovels to help keep the ice clean.
This is a record year for volunteer Hoser sign-ups. What a community!
See you at the rink.
